The Story of Eddy Hansen – Program

June 20, 2019: “The Story of Eddy Hansen” with Michael Koehler. Ethwell “Eddy” Hanson was born on August 1, 1893 in Waupaca and became a nationally recognized musician. In 1951, he composed, “The Wisconsin Waltz,” which is Wisconsin’s official waltz. Hansen eventually returned to Waupaca, becoming a common sight and sound at Simpsons on Main Street.
