The long days and warm weather of summer are but a memory, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make some new ones this winter in Waupaca
Day 1: Arrive at one of the Waupaca Area’s bed and breakfasts, each featuring their own unique appeal to visitors and check into your home away from home. Head out to dinner at Johnson’s Waupaca Woods Restaurant or Par 4 Bistro for a great fish fry in their warm dining atmosphere everyone will enjoy.
Day 2: After breakfast at the Inn, stop at Adventure Outfitters to rent a pair of snowshoes or cross country skis and head out to Hartman Creek State Park. There are 6 miles of trails available for cross-country skiing and 3.5 miles available for snowshoeing. For dinner head to Chain O’ Lakes Bar & Grill, a local favorite spot with a diverse and delicious menu and entertainment in the evenings.
Day 3: Sleep in and enjoy breakfast in bed. Before heading home, stop out at Wild West Campground & Corral for a horse drawn sleigh ride across the rural central Wisconsin landscape.
