Volunteer Opportunities
We are currently seeking volunteers for Strawberry Fest 2019 on Saturday, June 15. To recognize volunteers, a donation will be made to the volunteer’s chosen non-profit organization based on their total hours worked. Our event volunteers are managed through VolunteerSpot. - Taste of Waupaca in Strawberry Lane Café from 9am-4pm
- Arts & Craft Show – Artisans from across the Midwest from 9am-4pm
- Entertainment – Entertainment: 9 AM-12 PM TBA, 1 PM-4 PM TBA.
- All Berry Booth – Fresh strawberries for sale from 10am until gone.
- Trivia contest – Answer strawberry trivia for a chance at a $50 Waupaca Area Chamber Gift Certificate. 9 AM – 4 PM. Fulton Street
- Shortcake Tent – Serving strawberry shortcake $3.00/person from 10am- until it’s gone!
- Model Railroad Show – Located in the Waupaca Recreation Center from 10 am – 4 pm.
- Waupaca Railroad Depot Open House – 8 AM – 9 PM, Oak Street, north of Waupaca.
- Holly History Center – Open 9am-Noon
- Hutchinson House Museum – Open 1 PM – 4 pm
- Strawberry Shortcake Eating Contest – Noon. See Waupaca folks eat Strawberry Shortcake in a contest – the winner gets to donate at least $500 to the charity of his or her choice!
- Strawberry Activities at Turner’s Farm Market – 10 AM – 5 PM, Father’s Day treat.
- Kids Alley – Dizzy D Clown from 9 am – 3 pm and much, much more.
- Lil’ Strawberry Sally & Sam Costume Contest – 11:00 am. All girls & boys 2-5 years old are invited to enter! $50 savings bond awarded to Strawberry Sally & Sam; prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place; goodie bags for all participants. Sponsored by First State Bank and Sunny Day Child Care & Preschool, Inc. Entry Form.
- Waupaca Chain Skier’s Duck Race – 2:30 pm in Waupaca River/Rotary Riverview Park. Proceeds benefit Waupaca Chain Skiers Water Ski Club.
- Strawberries at the Raspberry Connection – King Road, strawberries and other seasonal produce available.
- Chain Skiers Water Ski Show – 6:00 pm Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.
