Join us for a walk and together we can spread awareness on dementia!
The Wisconsin Veterans Home at King will be hosting “Wau-King Together for Dementia Awareness Walk” on Saturday, September 16, 2017. This event is sponsored by the Waupaca County Caregiver Coalition and will be held at the Wisconsin Veterans Home-King campus.
Participants can choose to walk 1 mile or 5K. Registration will take place from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. in Quadrangle Park and the walk will start at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $20 per person for those 16 years of age and over, t-shirt included; 15 and under can walk for FREE. Group discounts are also available.
Entertainment will be provided by the Hi Jinx band from 9:30 -11:00 a.m. Basket raffles will be available with all proceeds going to the Waupaca County Caregiver Coalition.
